I believe the last I updated this, I was a freshman in art school? Well, now I'm a junior, and decided to brush off a little dust, at least for those who may or may not be passing by.

A number of things have changed, most hopefully my art getting better. While that is to say there are a lot of pieces I could've been updating my page with, I had basically nothing I really wanted to display, and here my page was, wallowing in neglect. I can't say if I will have a lot left to update, but we'll see. I've embarked on a number of new projects, and one large personal project I hope to be sharing here, but with the art school schedule, it will, naturally, be largely pending.

Certain other personal matters have changed as well: I've moved into my third apartment now, and live with a wealth of wonderful roommates, studied deeply into the psychology and machinations of sequential art, lost friends, made an onslaught of new ones, left my boyfriend of five years, and have done a great deal of thinking.

This being said, I still wish to update this page as much as I can, but I can never tell when. Until next time. <3

Hey, I know I haven't actually been alive for a while.

So, the story goes, now I'm in college and living in an apartment. Boy, time sure flies, huh? I remember making this in freshman year. Er, or at least, I think. You know what age does to a person's memory.

I suppose all I can really say for myself is that I have made a ton of art, but it's all been for my classes. And nothing really remarkable, I'd say, since it's foundation year, with really general projects and all that... Next year is illustration, so that's probably when I'd start posting stuff from my classes. As for now, nothing I'd really think is good enough to post in my gallery.

Also, I HAVE been updating the Alternate Earth webcomic [link] as well as I can without having the manga program with me here in my apartment, since the program doesn't accept Vista. I'll be waiting for Manga Studio 4.0, which is projected to be Vista compatible.

As for everything else, well...in a bad turn of luck, I've lost my tablet pen. I'm poor, so I'm not sure when I'll be able to afford to purchase a replacement. =w=;

Hmmm. I'm really fatigued right now if anyone can tell. It's been a crazy past few days (with a few legal infractions included that I'll leave up to your imagination. ^.~).

._. Well, I suppose until next time.

Otakon-liciousness

...Was actually not that delicious. : O

Now, having gone to four Otakons consecutively, I'd have to say this has been my least favorite, because there wasn't a lot that interested me. A lack of panels, and video screening rooms airing an anime I've been dying to see were nearly extinct. I did watch Witchblade, however. That was pretty good. >.>

But, alas, I mean no offense to those in Ohio, but that's where the base of Otakorp, the people who run Otakon (and it can change year to year), was this year. Now, last time I checked, Otakon was here in Baltimore. >.>;; So, it makes me wonder how well people in Ohio can plan a convention in Baltimore, being that the two are greatly different.

I would have to say Otakon 2005 was probably my favorite...But, hey, this time around, I gots to see some pr0n, so it wasn't a total waste of a trip. XDD I also didn't manage to get my cosplay together, but hey, now I'm LOADS early for Katsucon! Hoo-hah! *ninja pose*

._. Anyway, there were so many impressive people at Otakon, including :iconbudgie: , whom I bought a Link bookmark from their set. Man, I love :icon budgie: . XD I also got to see :iconramy: and a bunch of others, but I sort of just basked in their majesty from a little while away. I also got a new bag, and covered it with pins, covering any range of inanity and sexual innuendo. :D I am a pervert.

Buuuuuut...yeaaaaahhh...Nothing to write home about. Just to write online. >o>

The con might have been a little more fun if I wasn't sick, either. ^^; The first round of meds didn't work, but the second ones were DAMN EFFECTIVE. >.>; I take the first round for three days until my temperature hits 104.2, and that same day, I get new meds, and within the first few hours, it's gone. It's like Jesus. In a tablet. Except with side-effects, like drowsiness and dizziness. : D Maybe not as cool as I thought. >.>; I'm still taking them, by the way.

Keepin' ya'll up to date. However, I'm feelin' good! Getting art done, and getting my new apartment. DAMN SKIPPY. XD I'll tell you how it goes later.

P.S: This year's Otakon also didn't boast any real challengers in Guitar Hero. Needlessly to say, I pwned. >.>

Back From Senior Week...

  • Watching: YURRRIIIIII. XD LOTS OF YURRIIIII!!!
  • Playing: Guitar Hero II. YOU'RE MINE, "JORDAN!" &
  • Eating: Yakisoba. Mmmm....
  • Drinking: MEDIUM ICED MOCHA LATTE!!!! OwO
...For about a week now, but only now do I feel like updating my journal. >o>

.w. Hey there, my lovely potatoes! My, I sure do feel good after drinking a medium iced mocha latte. : D *is a Dunkin Donuts luvar* They're the only people I will allow to spell "donuts" like that, because they are the gods of coffee. I love Starbucks, but I take a joy in ordering my coffee sizes in English.

*RAWKIN' OUT TO OK GO!* XD DAMMIT, I LOVE THEIR CD! I ALSO LOVE THIS MOCHA LATTE! *waaaaaay too happy* THIS IS HOW YOU KNOW I'VE JUST TAKEN IN A LOT OF CAFFEINE! ^o^ *loves the world, and everyone in it. 'Cept like, Hitler, but he's dead, so YAY! Oh, but Darfur is depressing. I don't like that.*

:D So, my collective riboflavin, how are you? I just got a job at GameStop, so yay for employee discounts and such! I think it's a pretty good first job. My Seung-Mina cosplay isn't going very far, but I still have hope. ^^; I'm having terrible con anxiety, but my this coffee sure makes me feel better about it. OwO *whee*

.. You know, it's been a long time since I've actually drawn something I'm not OBLIGED to. Now, this sucks because I still have a terribly long to-do list. ^^; After I finish this contest for drunkduck, then I've got to go look for an apartment for college, then I have work and my cosplay. After Otakon, Steve wants to take me back to his beach house, and then stuff happens...And the college. O.o; AHHHH, I AM SO OLD!

*singin'* So who's house...are you hauntin'....tonight?

Oh yeah, that's not the point here. XD

Senior Week was fun, though. I actually had alcohol. It seems that random Irish guy named Brian at a convention years ago was right, when I said I didn't like to drink: it really depends on what you're drinking. White Russians ARE DELICIOUS. XD And I want more pear vodka shots! Rawr! But, still, nothing truly ground-shaking happened on Senior Week, yet, it was still lots of fun. =w= *shakin' it*

IIIIIT'S A DISASTER! IIIIIT'S AN INCREDIBLE MESS! *keeps rawkin' out to music*

*snuggling to my new computer* ^o^ I don't care if it has Vista. It's still beautiful to me. XD *is loading it up with porn*

.o. So, you know, I think I have cardiac arrhythmia. XD No, not really, but I've noticed that whenever I'm around my friend Ally (whom I've had this ongoing crush on for three years...poor Steve. >.>; ), my blood pressure shoots up and my heart pounds so heard, I can hear it. O.o; Now, if this was years ago when I first started to like her, that would make sense. But NOW? I think I might be dying. =w=; I'll be sure to put you guys in my will. You know. If I have anything worth taking. XD But yeah, this whole situation sure is taking out all the focus when I work. Slowly, my mind begins to wander....And then, there I am, doing anything BUT working. ^^; I need to get over this. If not, it may be the end of me. *sighs*

@o@ Ooh, I think the caffeine is settling. I am now in a peaceful state of bliss. ^o^ Ahhhhhhh~<3.

IIII loooooove youuuuuse guyyyyyyys. XD

.w. Keep havin' fun, my bacon! I'll keep truckin', if only for you. :D

::bulletblue:: ::bulletblue:: ::bulletblue:: ::bulletblue::

::iconclubrufus:: Now in ULTRA-SEXY! :D Wait, that was already there? ._. THEN WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! >o> GO GET 'IM!

SPUD POTATOEZ, and new computer.

  • Playing: My brother took all the games.....
  • Eating: PORRRN. >.> Yes, damn straight.
  • Drinking: Sprite. *guzzles* THIRSTY.
:D Dyarrrrrr.

I just got my own computer! I always had to do it on my dad's, or my brother's...BUT NOW, I HAVE ATTAINED MY OWN! AT LAST!

It's got a widescreen, 320 Gb hardrive, speakers and a subwoofer....And, it's also got Windows Vista Home Premium. ..; I know, I know, VISTA....But, actually, I think it's quite sexy, despite a few glitches. DAMMIT MUSIC! STOP SKIPPING! *slaps media player in the face* =o=

Anyway, I'm just as busy as ever, what with graduation next week. You know, I started Alternate Earth when I was a freshman, and you know? I have no life. Yeah. XD

I found out that a table for Otakon is $70, and then there is the cost for making the stuff....You know, I want to do it to get my name out there, but I still don't think anyone would buy anything, unless it was dirt cheap. Hell, I'd have commissions up here if people wanted them, but, nobody does. ^^; I don't know where I'm going with my art anymore, but since I don't have any other real talents...And if anyone of you says writing, I am going to cut your head off. >o>;

Well, who knows? I'm going to an art college now, so I guess things could only be looking up.

..............I'm hungry. ..

Well, see you d00dz later. @w@ *skips off with a hat of fruit*

:bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue: :bulletblue:
