GS - Imil Departed

Har har, when I promised more fanart, didja expect Golden Sun fanart? XD

This is for the Summertime Contest running at . Sexy, yosh? When you think "summer", you think "beach", which makes you think "water", and yeah, that's the general train of thought. Also, thanks to those who posted in the club's journal for leading my train of thought that way. You know who you are.

I've never drawn GS art before, let alone Mia...And, as a bonus, I've never drawn water. So, sorry for the amateur mistakes and general lack of patience, as displayed by the background. >.> Ick. However, I remember while still developing my art style (it always is) early on, back when the first Golden Sun game came out, I tried an imitation of the art style, and well, that didn't pan out. It's very interesting to see the characters in my style now.

Don't mind the title, please. It's just admittedly odd to see Mia without the many, many layers she wears due to Imil's undoubtedly harshly cold climate. Makes me wonder what she did when crossing the Lamakan Desert. >.> That girl is crazy, I tell you. And for the Summer, we have Mia, relaxing and just playing around with her psynergetic powers of Mercury. Ohhhh, yeah. Hawt. XD

As with the pattern of late, this was completed in Photoshop 7 and done with the aid of my Intuos3 tablet and favorite .5 mm. pencil.
