Oookay, so in some strange coincidence, today is the day that, two years ago, I posted the original, "First Appearance," and I re-drew and colored everything, because I thought it could be better. Much, much better. >.>;

And, voila`! It's average. XD So horribly, horribly average. I need to experiment more with this tablet. >.>; The original was the first CG ever from me, and this is like the first CG by me with a tablet. At least I'm getting somewhere.

That's the original, if you would like to compare my art from two years ago. >.>; Anyone know HOW to color that background field? XD Well, just to mention, there WERE mountains in the background, just I thought that would be too hard for the ORIGINAl original, and then I blocked them. With hills. Lazy people of the world unite. Sometime.

Intuos3 9x12 tablet, and Photoshop 7, my friends! : D

Wow, someone had time on their hands.
fun little fact: I only work when I don't have time on my hands to do it in.

I need to come up with a better way to use the mouse to colour. Or save cash to buy a tablet which'll have to wait till I've competed the last components of the Vincent outfit and after the next anime con. I don't want to go to another con where I have no money

Man, I know how you feel. At Otakon last year, I had no money and wound up borrowing money into debt. ^^; Then at Katsucon, I had $300, and blew it all in one day 'cause I kept spending on Steve. It was worth it, though: he got me the tablet. XD

I'm thinking of going to this year's Otakon as Rachel on Sunday. XD *has the hair spikes*

I recommend buying a Graphire off e-bay if you don't want to blow your wallet. It's a lot more affordable than my Intuos3 9x12. x.x; And, a lot of good deviants use the Graphire4, I think...Yeah. ^^; 512 levels of pressure sensitivity. Well, whatever works for you.

depend on the work and the comic and how much of a perfectionist you can be.

picture (dependeing on what day it is and how I feel) can be from 5 minutes with color to 5 hours with no color(add another eight to that for the color)
comic so far the last one I was doing 1 hour for the comic, this was two months ago and I'm still working on the color.



*thinks for a while* wonder if I can convince my glompers/stalkers to buy me a tablet... I convinced them to get me a game, some sugar, more than a half a litre of coffee, and 25 g of fairy floss (bout five to 6 sticks worth basically) today, hmmmmm.
